Product Description

Product Description

Charlie Bronson is Britain's most dangerous convict. He talks tough, and he fights harder. During more than a quarter of a century inside, he has gained a fearsome reputation as the prison system's only serial hostage taker. Yet he is also a man of great warmth and humor, and despite his reputation, he has never killed anyone. Respected and admired by many prison officers as well as prisoners, the cast of characters he has met on the inside is astonishing.

About the Author

Charlie Bronson is Britain's most feared and dangerous convict, and it's most famous. He is also an award winning artist and husband to Saira who he married in 2001. He is a legend of the underworld and author of Bronson, Insanity, The Good Prison Guide and The Krays and Me.

3.0 out of 5 stars BACK SLAPPING CLUB, 18 Oct 2005
By A Customer
This review is from: Heroes and Villains: The Good, the Mad, the Bad and the Ugly (Paperback)
All what I have been able to see in the book is a collection of characters already covered by the media. I mean, excuse me, but is this a members only club? Don't get me wrong, I love this sort of book, but this one does not fully hit home or reach the parts that it should. Still, another one for the collection, I suppose.

5.0 out of 5 stars WHAT THE LEGENDS SAY!, 25 Sep 2005
This review is from: Heroes and Villains: The Good, the Mad, the Bad and the Ugly (Paperback)
"This book is fantastic. My close friends Tel Currie & Charlie Bronson finally tell the truth and venture into controversial territory that is usually shied away from. A must read for anyone remotely interested in the history of Britain's underworld"
Charlie Richardson

"Tel & Charlie have written a cracker! I don't usually have the attention span for books but this one I read cover to cover. I recommend 'Heroes and Villains' to everybody."
Roy 'Pretty Boy' Shaw

"A great book packed with the truth. Well done Tel and Charlie on a fantastic book."
Freddie Foreman

"Tel and Charlie have written a blinder! I'm not just saying that because they are both close friends but because this book is a real winner... I loved it"
Ronnie Knight

"Well done Tel and Chaz on an absolutely blinding book"
Carlton Leach

BRONSON'S TALENT IN THE WORLD OF ART AND LITERATURE IS PHENOMENONAL AS HE TURNS OUT MORE BOOKS THAN CHOPPER 'MARK BRANDON' WHICH IS GOING SOME, AND FAIR PLAY TO CHARLIE WHO OBVIOUSLY HAS A LOT OF TIME ON HIS HANDS FOR TEAMING UP WITH FRIEND OF THE CHAPS TEL CURRIE TO WRITE 'HEROES AND VILLIANS' AND IF ANYONE HAS READ TEL'S BESTSELLING 'BOUNCERS' BOOK AND IS AWARE OF THE FREE CHARLES BRONSON CAMPAIGN, THEN YOU HAVE THE IDEAL WRITING PARTNERSHIP HERE, WHICH ADDS WEIGHT TO THE THEORY THAT MR BRONSON AINT THAT MAD. TIME HE GOT PAROLE FOLKS IF ONLY TO SIGN THIS NEW BOOK, BUY IT NOW.

5.0 out of 5 stars HEROES and VILLAINS by Johnny Nash., 27 Oct 2005
This review is from: Heroes and Villains: The Good, the Mad, the Bad and the Ugly (Paperback)
" This directory of Heroes and Villains is a book you must read and keep. The poems, saying's and ditties are true to life, Charlie and Tel have left nothing and nobody out. For me, it's funny but also sad... just like a book should be.

In civvie street, it's not hard to brush shoulders with a slag or two- and you put them in their rightful place, but Charlie Bronson who is doing life for NOT taking a life doesn't make sense to me, doing life for what Charlie has done is a joke!
Everybody does or should hate these child murderers, paedophiles and the like. You will get these do- gooders like Cherrie Blaire defending a paedophile at the European court, surely they MUST know there is NO CURE for these maggots... NONE!!!
Yet, Charlie has got all these slag's around him while doing a life sentence, that's a life sentence on it's own. Those scum should volunteer to be put down, I myself would like to shake hands with their windpipe, i'm even getting excited thinking about it!

I just hope someone in authority comes to their senses and lets Charlie Bronson out very soon, so he can get to work helping underprivileged children and babies at Zoe's place baby hospice in Liverpool. Charlie has raised a lot of money for them already and could start a charity where EVERY PENNY WOULD GO TO THE CAUSE.

Yes, Charlie Bronson and Tel Currie's 'Heroes and Villains' opens your eyes not only to pain and suffering but reminding you that there are still a lot of good sound people left.

Johnny Nash
