The Band of the Coldstream Guards is the country’s oldest-serving military band and, with an impressive 112-year history they are the oldest continual surviving recording artists in the world. It is the Coldstream Guards that is renowned for performing the theme tune to Dad’s Army. One of the best military bands I have heard. Downloaded onto my iPod, Play in car CD. Would like to have seen some of the royalty being sent to 'Help for Heroes' fund. But still well worth buying, you can listen to a military band anytime.

The Cd is awesome, the best ever, the band should be congratulated for their awesome performance, it has been good to see them on TV including the Alan Titchmarsh Show and BBC News lets hope this is a huge success they deserve it

A fantastic, uplifting collection of superbly-performed music! I defy you not to feel proud that these musicians are British sevice men and women. The sound has great quality and depth and really draws out the emotions on every track. Well done to Lt Col Jones and his Coldstream Guards' band for providing the best military band music album of the decade!!

Heroes
An enjoyable recording. I must confess a bias to HM Royal Marines in their performances, but this is a good quality presentation, which I would recommend for easy listening.
