Product Description

Review

Heritage Trees has been published to tie in with National Seed Gathering Day and the Tree Council's National Tree Week, and also in response to continuous demand from silva-loving book-buyers for trees not covered by previous books. It runs concurrently with a campaign by the Tree Council to gain protection for heritage trees and thus each tree described is accessible to the public.

Book Description

Famous and unique trees throughout the kingdom, from the original Bramley's Apple to Rizzio's Chestnut, Rabbie Burns' Sycamore and the 'Kissing Beech'

Format: Hardcover
Covering the length and breadth of the country, this book provides information on some of the oldest and most valuable trees in our landscapes. The collection in itself is impressive, but this book really wins with the stunning photography. This is the ideal book to leave around the house. If you guests only pick it up for a minute they won't fail to be impressed.

Great book on so many wonderful trees, the history to these is intriguing and worth finding out, also the trees themselves are amazing and so old but with a timeless beauty to them .

Actually this was a birthday present to a friend but they tell me that it opened their eyes to some really lovely trees to see in Britain.
