FORMER REDCOATS BRING BACK THE "HI-DE-HI " YEARS IN A NEW BOOK PUBLISHED BY AUTHORHOUSE UK.

They were the "Angels of the Holiday Camps" - the famous Butlins Redcoats. A group of mainly young men and women who epitomized the special atmosphere that has been Butlins trademark for more than seven decades.

"Here Come The Redcoats" is an unofficial special tribute to those who have been privileged to have been members of a world famous club.

It has been well documented that some former Redcoats have gone on to have successful showbiz careers, but being a Redcoat was a job that brought an enormous sense of pride, fun and life changing memories. This is what this book is all about. You have over 200 archive images, the personal memories of former Redcoats as well as a "Redcoat Roll of Honour"

"Here Come The Redcoats", brings back the fun, energy and enthusiasm of what made being a Redcoat so special and certainly will provide a welcome trip down memory lane for anyone who enjoyed the old style Butlins holiday experience.
