The Hercules DJ Control MP3 e2 works with all leading music file types (audio CD, MP3, WAV or WMA files for Windows, AAC for Mac OS), and gives all the control a DJ needs at their finger tips whether creating mixes, recording new tracks, designing the perfect playlist, or for DJing live, keeping the party going all night.

This is definitely one of the best things I have ever bought, an absolute must-have if you're starting out as a DJ. This is a pleasure to use, really light in weight so you can sit it on your lap if, like me, you're sat at a desktop computer whilst using this. I use it along with Virtual DJ 6 Pro. Only slight problem with this controller is the cable that its supplied with. I find that it's prone to interference from all the other cables to the back of my computer (there's a lot, ha ha!), so I would suggest that you buy a shielded usb cable like this one:

I have had this product for 2 months now and it is working perfectly.
As a beginner in Djing i learned a lot using this console and it saved me a lot of money.
It has everything you need to play for a party. The buttons are very responsive and with virtual dj you can make amazing mixes.
Recommended for all new beginners in djing. 2 mates of mine also tried my console and they are planning to get one soon.

Tried this out on saturday at a friends BBQ, it really made the night. I cant find any fault with it. works great, you can even scratch with it.... amazing
You will need 2 sound cards on you PC/Laptop so I also got this "Behringer UCA202 2 In/2 Out USB/Audio Interface", used it for the speaker output and used the internal sound card of the laptop for the headphones.

Awesome
It's an awesome product. Well worth the money. Cool stuff. Easy to mix with it. Not disapointed at all. I'll hardly recomend to buy if you're looking for a mixing deck.

soundcard issue
it doesnt come with a built in sound card so i bought a cheap one off here and it wont let me play sound through headphones and speaker at the same time! Read more

The Hercules e2 works well as long as it's connected to a good computer. The software that comes with it is good for simply mixing your music and it went down well at our new year... Read more
