Herbatint flash fashion is a new innovative colour designed to reflect the pace and immediacy of modern living without compromising the natural elements of the established herbatint range. Quality and safety are traditional features of the manufacturers of the herbatint range and antica erboristeria have now developed flash fashion with no ammonia and no resorcinol. As with the herbatint colours flash fashion covers grey from the first application. Contains aloe vera (well known for its anti-oxidizing properties with mucillagins, vitamins and panthenol) to protect and nourish the hair while colouring.
Flash fashion is enriched with betula alba (tonic and re-mineralizing), hamamelis virginiana (anti-inflammatory with flavonoids and essential oils) and Echinacea angustifolia (hydrating and disinfectant). With herbatint hair colour you can change the tone of your hair (for instance, from gold to ash), it can be used to lighten by up to 3 shades and will cover grey from the first application. 1N Black colour.
It is possible to lighten natural hair by one or two shades on brown or chestnut hair and two to three shades on light chestnut or blonde hair. Can lighten previously tinted hair by two tones.
Herbatint can return hair to its natural colour, but remember to mix a gold shade with a natural if your target shade is 6N or above. 5N and below are fine by themselves on bleached hair.
Do not colour your hair immediately after a perm. We recom- mend waiting two weeks and then shorten the processing time by 10 minutes and use a shade lighter than your target shade.
Hair that has been treated with henna:
Henna creates a sheath around the hair making it very difficult for tint to penetrate on the first application. Subsequent appli- cations should be more successful.
If you choose a colour, which is Ash, Golden, Copper, Mahogany, we advise you to mix it with a colour from the natu- ral range in equal parts. Do not mix together two shades of the golden range.
Instruction for use:
Apply the haircolouring Herbatint on dry hair, leave to develop 30 to 40 minutes, rinse, shampoo with a shampoo from the Herbavita range and finish with the application of the royal cream.See all Product Description

Pros: It covers grey very well, the colour is very natural looking, it smells OK. It is recommended by a French report as being the least toxic of permanent hair dyes, and it has no ammonia, parabens, resorcinol, toulene.
Cons: It doesn't have much red in it, so the colour was almost a plain brown, and I found it to be slightly too dark. Although after 2 weeks it started to fade a bit, and it became slightly redder and lighter. It is awkward having to mix 2 colours together, as the bottles aren't clear and see through, so it's hard to measure out how much you need. It would have been better if the 2 colours had already been mixed together, or if the bottles were clear and see through, with measuring markers on the bottles. It has a lot of PPD in it (listed 6th in the ingredients), and has peroxide (2nd) - but all permanent dyes have these chemicals in.
I will always try and buy any products which aren't tested on animals.
All the main hair dye brands in the main street shops are all tested on animals, and i won't be apart of it anymore.
So i found this brand which don't test on animals.
Also they don't contain any of the nasty chemicals which they put in the 'main stream' hair dyes.
I'm only 40 and have been dying my hair for years. And like any hair dye the dye does wash out, even with using a permanent dye.
I only use it to mainly dye my roots, for me the box of dye (containing two bottles) lasts me a month or two as i only mix up a little at time for what i need it for.
My hair feels good using this product. I did use Clairol before and i noticed how my head felt itchy and feel an irritation. After years of dying it and using high street permanent dyes(Superdrug)there came to a point where the dye wouldn't take to my hair anymore.
Not long after dying it, then normal washing it, most of the dye would wash straight out again. I think my hair had enough horrible chemicals on and was trying to tell me to stop! :-) Which i did.
Finding this product which has the more natural ingredients in it, i can honestly say that i haven't had any issue of the dye running straight out, like it did before. Which i'm really happy about..
For me buying this hair dye is a no brainer. It's not tested on animals, has no horrible chemicals which burn and irritate your head and make it sore! It's what i want from a hair dye!.. :-)
