Product Description

Product Description

Each book in Entrepreneur Magazine's Startup Series provides all the tools an enterprising individual needs to start, run and grow today's most profitable businesses. Each book in the series focuses on a different hot business idea and provides step-by-step instructions for guidance through every state. The reader learns how to handle everything - conducting market research, choosing a location, financing, buying equipment, finding customers, hiring employees and much more. Each book contains cost-cutting ideas, common mistakes to avoid, tips for smart operations and lists of helpful resources. Also included are useful sample forms, plus checklists and worksheets that will guide the reader through every aspect of the startup process. There is a huge demand for herbs and herbal products today. Cooks use herbs to enhance the flavours of their meals; herbal teas, candles, potpourri and both and beauty products are more popular than ever. Small businesses can cash in on this lucrative opportunity by selling fresh-cut herbs to restaurants and markets; by operating a display garden, retail shops or tea room; or by making herbal products from wreaths to herb vineyards and selling them at arts and crafts fairs. Whether they have a tiny rooftop garden or their own farm and greenhouse, this guide shows hopeful green thumbs not only how to grow herbs, but also how to develop a wide range of herbal products to sell.
