Amazon.co.uk Review
This should be awful, thanks to singer Jamie's OTT cockernee vowels, and because of how annoying "I Quit" got after it's millionth airing on the radio. Bizarrely, though, it's nowhere near as bad as it should be. Of course, being an all-girl pop band, the comparisons to bands like
B*Witched are inevitable, but Hepburn have the kind of truly feisty personality to stand apart. The main selling point seems to be that they actually play their instruments ("But they can't" shout a load of stupid people, "They're girls, and they play pop!"), but the best thing about it is the way they really talk about how girls feel. Rather than going all gooey-eyed over boys, they have a good bitch about crap, vain boyfriends ("Here Comes Napoleon") and offer each other support. In the words of a Ricky Lake audience member, you go girls! --
