Based on the Film 22 Feb 2005
By Mrs. D. J. Smith VINE™ VOICE
Format:Hardcover
This is a novelisation based on the film starring Keith Michell. Obviously it is not in-depth and really only picks out some of the main events in the life of Henry VIII as relates to his wives. The film was done in flashback from Henry's point of view while on his deathbed and the novelisation follows this. In what it does show it is reasonably historically accurate, but of course to cram everything that happened into a 200 page book based on a 90-odd minute film is well nigh impossible.
