For years I have made do with peelers from the cheaper end of the market, and before that opted for the good old fashioned knife. After losing or breaking our previous peelers I decided it was time to splash out on something slightly more expensive in the hope that more money meant more quality. Well, what do you know? It does!
I cannot believe that I am driven enough to write about a potatoe peeler but it really is very good at what it does. It fits surprisingly well in the hand (I do have mansize hands, though) and will remove the slimmest of peelings, it is far and away the sharpest peeler I have ever used and, as I have an engineering background, I feel I am qualified to say it is made and finished to last. Go buy, you cannot go wrong.
