**UPDATE: Over a year on, what I have left of this packet is still going strong! I keep it stored in the original plastic bag and as long as I remember to seal the fold over with a mini-binder clip, the carbon doesn't dry out. Still very pleased with my purchase and am about to reorder - I sew ALOT, and also teach so I use this product almost daily. Great stuff, highly recommend this!

I use dressmaker's carbon for all of my sewing as it's the most reliable method of transferring marks I've found (been sewing for over 40 years). This packet is so far the best value I've found for the product - these large sheets will last longer, and are large enough to transfer a large area of markings - so very nice not have to constantly reposition the carbon paper to get all the markings done at one go!

I like that these sheets are separated by non-carbon sheets to prevent unwanted carbon transfers; also like that the plastic bag is sturdy enough to use as a storing bag. Simply use a small screwdriver to lift the staples and preserve the bag for continued use.

The order arrived very quickly, too, which is especially appreciated. Well done to Barnyarns who shipped this order, will definitely order again!

Update: I see The Quilted Bear is offering this as well, and can highly recommend them as a seller - I've ordered from them and am very pleased with their service and stocks as well.

I didn't know you could get such big sheets as I have not found these in my local stores. It is such a time-saver using these when drafting an adult pattern, such as a skirt of trousers as I can draft most of a pattern piece in one go. I will be buying these in future, if it has to be on-line, so be it. The little sheets are ok for fiddly bits such as necklines or cuff details, but you cannot rely on getting an accurate draft if you have use several itty bitty sheets under your pattern piece, when drafting on to tissue or fabric.

I paint in acrylics on canvas. the paintings are very detailed and i photograph old british motor-cyclesand print and enlarge them opn my old a4 printer, then fold the a4 into quarters and enlarge each 1/4 up to a4,them stick them together, finally transfer the resulting image using carbon onto large 60x50cm ,colour primed(emulsion) canvasses.I was spending up to £13 on 5 sheets of a4 carbon(white) or £4 black. I have since painted 20 such canvasses just using your one pack, purchased in nov. 2013.I shall soon need another pack and wonder if u just do packs of white only, as it leaves less mess to wash off. Once again , a belated thankyou, your product was brilliant.

This barely deserves one star. Carbon paper that will barely leave a trace on your fabric! Patchy, irregular, uneven carbon. Have been sewing for over 30 years and have never seen carbon paper so poor - it is not fit for purpose. I would return but dont have printer for return label. Utter rubbish.

Good quality craft carbon paper. Large sheets, so useful for larger projects, and useful that it comes in various colours.

Some of the pieces were OK but two just didn't work - seemed as though the papers were really old and the creases were permanent! Disappointed when I used it first time, tried again and had slightly better results but third time just gave up. I would not buy this product again.
