I believe this title fills a void in books for children. Whilst adults face a huge selection of self help books when they peruse current literature available to them, children are left well and truly out in the cold. This young author has drawn on her own tried and tested tactics, employed to get her through the toughest of times and recorded them in a direct way which is easy to access.

Every parent or carer should sit with their child, share this book and discuss when they would be able to utilise such strategies. Life can throw many challenges our way and this book is packed with advice on how to deal with them.

This book is just brilliant; a collection of short snippets of advice for self help. It is written by a 9 year old girl who has had to develop a number of strategies to help her overcome some of the difficulties in her life.
If this book had been written by an adult, they would have made a worse job of it. The language used cuts right to the point and makes you feel like the author is talking to you personally. Adults usually do a great job of over complicating things and leaving little to the imagination. This book is just the opposite; it's a stimulant. The commentary and simple, but oh so effective illustrations, result in you picturing yourself following the advice.
A great book, not just for children. This book would make a great present for anyone who can read!
