Super short book by well known children's author pete johnson, who writes fast paced, modern, realistic and slightly gritty stories. It may appeal to those really bright kids in the class, that like correcting the teacher's mistakes and finding something else to do in it, other than work. The main character starts up his own little gambling syndicate in school about whether or not, teachers are going to pick their noses, when they think the kids are not looking - and things like that. However the bets and the pace of the book get bigger and faster until ... Well you will have to read it to find out what happens. A good read - a serious topic - written in pete johnson's usual humour.
