CD Description
Combining Charles Vald's skills as a hypnotherapist with his passion for creative storytelling and his wife's experience and knowledge as a primary school teacher, they have produced a bedtime audiobook CD to help aid children's sleep.
The CD begins with simple relaxation exercises, then while in a happy relaxed state, the calming guided story begins, building sand castles, riding on a boat, playing with dolphins and much more.
To stop the child waking up at the end of the CD they are told to use their imagination to create their own adventures with the characters they have met in the story, this allows them to drift off into a lovely dream and a better nights sleep.
It can also and has helped children's' attention span, concentration and focus, all related to the children previously not sleeping enough.
This CD is the second in the series.

My son is six and he has ADHD and trying to get him to sleep at bedtime is a nightmare. I bought The Seashore and played it for him the first night it arrived. He was asleep in less than 20 minutes! I was very impressed! I also work straight 12 hour midnight shifts and find it sometimes hard to get to sleep during the day. I figured it wouldn't hurt to try the cd myself and I was asleep in no time! I am definitely going to look for more of Charles' and Rachel's cds for children!

I have a 9 year old daughter,(I know, "harder than boys") who thinks bedtimes are between eight o clock and twelve o clock so my cousin said that his 8 year old daughter found it hard to goto sleep when moved into their new house so he bought her a sleep cd (not this one). So i read other peoples comments on the sea shore sleep cd and got it dispatched and delivered straight away. It worked ( and beleive me she is a strong willed character) within twenty minutes she was sleeping!! Hours later i went into her bedroom and the sea shore waves were still swishing onto the shore, so even if your child wakes up half an hour later etc. they will still hear the cd playing. i highly recommend it!

I bought this for my daughter when she started junior school, and had trouble getting off to sleep at night. The cd starts with a story about the beach, and you have to imagine making sand castles and being by the sea. At the end of the story is just the sound of lapping waves, and it was at this point that my daughter drifted off to sleep. She really enjoyed listening to it and was definitely more relaxed about bedtime.
