Tony De Saulles trained as a graphic designer and worked in advertising, graphic design and book design before turning to illustration and writing. Tony has been illustrating the best selling Horrible Science series since it first started back in 1996. Horrible Science has sold more than ten million copies in over thirty countries. The latest title is called Horrible Science House of Horrors and it's all about the creatures that lurk in our houses - not just mums, dads and pet dogs but cockroaches, rats, bats and many other horrible beasts.
Tony's first humour book for adults, 99 Dead Snowmen, has just been published. Stan the Snowman doesn't have the best of luck as he suffers a list of gruesome deaths at the hands of old ladies, friendly hot-water bottles and evil robins. A witty and griping book with well developed characters. I realy enjoyed the layout because it was not all solid writing, it had pictures, emails, adverts, all sorts.I do not read much but I read this story in two days, I just could not put it down! I loved this book but I did feel if it had been a bit longer, it could have had a more complex storyline. But generally it had a well thought out plot, it was very intriging and humorus. The cat in question has a weight problem and the book is all about everybody's efforts to get him in shape.
