Life vests don?t come any more comfortable than this. It has soft foam in the front for comfort and stable PE foam in the back for stability. Its low-bulk, front-zip design allows for maximum movement, perfect for sailing. It meets the CE EN 393 standard and even has an emergency flare pocket on the front.

First:- Amason; the product way over packaged, you could fit five of these items in the box!
Second:- The Vest; Watch out for size required, I ordered size 70-90 KG I'm 80Kg & it fits. If you are a large chest size you may not. Also, climbing in & out of a canoe/boat you need a crutch strap this vest does not have one, I've already fitted one to mine. Pocket too small just big enough for whistle & keys. Very comfy to wear does not hinder paddling easy to fit. Picked black for watching wild life, I wear a yellow safety vest when out with other boats. I like it.

The Helly Rider vest buoyancy aid has a very reassuring and quality feel to it although it is very reasonably priced. It is a substantial vest with some rigidity to it, but it is comfortable to wear and easy to put on. The zip fastening has a positive and durable feel to it so that you know it isn't going to come off easily if you are tipped into the water.
We haven't had to depend on ours in an emergency yet but we feel sure it will do it's job if needed.

Amazon Verified Purchase
I have used this vest for the first time today and found it very comfortable. I would agree that the sizes are very tight, i'm 5'10" and less than 90kg with a 42" chest and need the largest size and would guess larger folk may find this vest tight?
