After fighting Father Anderson to the finish, Alucard comes face to face with the traitorous Walter. While the two of them are fighting, Integra and Seras move to confront the last of Millennium's forces and move to confront the Major himself.
This is another very good volume of the `Hellsing' manga with the fight between Walter and Alucard being one of the better ones from the series so far (although the Alucard/Anderson fight is still the best). This volume also gives us a little information on the Major's background and reveals the true form of the Captain. With the next volume being the climax of the series, things are set for a brilliant end for a brilliant series.

Alucard gets down to business and the action never stops in this volume, fantastic artwork as usual. Still fighting in the remains of london Alucard now has to fight a new adversary/ old friend and revels in the opportunity to do so. Integra is off searching for the major to put a stop to his madness and seras is off fighting captain hans gunsche. All in all another great volume by a legend, a great addition to any vampire and action loving manga fan.

I was about to cry when this volume was delivered. I am far and away from any place where I can get an original copy and I was so accustomed to buy them here on amazon without worries, as it turns out my father's card stopped being able to do international buys for a extended period of time... this was driving me mad so I, finally, could buy this volume at the exact same time volume 10 was released.
This volume is long but it is absolutely enjoyable. If you have no idea how what this series is about you do need to see everything else to get the plot right but since I am almost sure this series is a must have for many I am about to bet that you already know what this is all about.
Plot-wise this has been one of my favorite books since the major plot absolutely unravels here. Graphics are as usual incredibly good and the characters... WOW!
As a vampire lover and great admirer of the manga graphic style I feel more than well serve by Hellsing in general and specially by this volume.

If you've been following the Hellsing manga, you'll enjoy this -- the storyline continues and we learn a bit more about Walter's situation ... overall, though, volume 9 seems to have been primarily focused on setting up the climatic battles -- so don't expect any resolutions ;)
