Product Description

This is the explosive true story of the only man ever to infiltrate the Hells Angels organization as an FBI informant, uncovering the truth about the notorious biker gang's netherworld of evil, lust, and violence. A chilling crime story that strips away the Hell's Angels's image to reveal a powerful and deadly organized crime syndicate. The author's acceptance into the highest ranks of the gang led to an unprecedented FBI sting operation and 42 arrests.

The author knows little about the real Hells Angels and has never spent time with them. He gets his information from a paid rat and a bunch of cops, each trying to justify and glorify themselves and support each other's lies in an effort for self-aggrandizement and profit. They try to trash the names of people I know and respect. I met Tait at the Hells Angels clubhouse on several occasions and had a bad feeling about him, the only time I met someone there I felt that way about. If they told the truth, they would be the ones in jail for the crimes they committed against America's favorite motorcycle club. I will always respect and support the Hells Angels. I have been proud to call some of them friends. The book is loaded with lies, as was Tait's testimony.

This book is a inside view of how some of the Hells Angels members operated a lucrative drug trade and how they got nabbed. The story of Antony Tait a street smart biker who rises through the ranks of the Hells Angels to become one of its Trusted and Privilaged members and all the time was working in league with the FBI and other Legal organistations. This is the only time a fully fledged member of this highly visible club has ever without wanting to get a lower sentence for a crime worked so closely for so long with federal government. This is another quite different look to the hells angels than Yves Lavanges other books Hells angels at war and Taking Care of Business and is definately a more compelling read. Also consider purchasing The Rebels by Daniel R Wolf in conjunction with this or any of Yves other books to get more of an understanding as to the emensity of the undertaking. A Definate must for anyone interested in the Hells angels or Outlaw Motorcycle clubs the world over.

An average book 21 Feb 2006

If you want a lot of facts as opposed to a good story line than this book is for you.

I got the feeling that the author was writing a book to condem the Hells Angels rather than being someone impartial. The book is nearly all about Anthony Tait, so if you are expecting a good story about the Hells Angels dont buy it it borders on a biography of Anthony Tait.

utter rubbish
Ignoring the one sided view of the author, the book is poorly written and repetitive - almost child like. Read more

Attention Getting however interesting.
The book is very interesting and held my attention. It was true to life as far as the red tape that our government has plased on Law Enforcement. The book was just a JOY to read.

Lavinge needs to give it up already!!!
Tony Tate was a rat from the start. Nothing but a flunky wanna-be cop. Lavinge holds HAMC in contempt and goes through great pains to show them as rats. Read more
