In London, after investigating crack addicted junkies for an article in her newspaper, the journalist Amy Klein watches a bizarre videotape. Her editor Charles Richmond received the footage of an underground group of youngsters in Bucharest apparently becoming zombies through the power of their leader Winter from a member, Marla, and invites Amy to prepare the story. Amy accepts the challenge, and once in Romania, she finds Marla dead with a puzzle cube in her hands. She brings the object to her hotel room, and opens it, beginning her journey to hell.

Deader is the seventh instalment in the growing Hellraiser series, yet again directed by Rick Bota who directed part six and eight, this movie yet again has a brilliant back story and sets up another bunch of victims pulled into a hellish nightmare set up by Pinhead, there are some great effects that reflect the original such as the hooks and chains etc and its very bloody and gory especially the end of the film. The cast is good and has several twists as usual, the cenobites as usual have fewer screen time which can be frustrating but when you do eventually see them its worth the wait, Doug Bradley delivers some great dialogue as usual as pinhead, worth getting if youre a true fan, its just another tale in the hell world of the puzzle box!!

well I have waited years for them to relese the final three hellraisers in this country as they have been out in america for years, but now that they have I am not disappointed at all! typically well written clive barker and follows the usual hellraiser mythology! pin head is still played by the same guy and he hasnt become any different, if anything he is more one with the roll now than he was in the first two! if your a clive barker fan you're gunna love this latest installment!
