It was bought as a present for my 6 year old niece, she was thrilled to receive it and still uses nightly while reading in bed to which surprisingly the novelty has not worn off.

This is a pretty item and value for money for Hello Kitty lovers, but it is not as plyable a book light as other I have used The bulb is not sufficiently shaded so shines rather brightly in the readers eyes.

This makes reading at bedtime lots of fun as we don't need the main light on - we just use the hello kitty book light - great!
