I didn't expect much, honestly; I decided to read it because I think Rupert Everett's just the sexiest thing. But hey, the man has a brain and he can write too. I shall never objectify a gorgeous actor again! The novel is amusing and witty, and has a surprisingly existential ending.

I've had this book for 4 years and have read and re-read it over again. The dialogue is wonderfully funny and the story moves along at a quick pace. Ideal characters and you can really sense that this book *is* semi-autobiographical. I wish Amazon would carry his other books!

"Hello" is a wonderful fantasy with charming and nutty characters. The book is perfect escapist reading. I just hope that there will be more to come in the story. Please encourage Mr. Everett to do more writing. I'm eagerly awaiting the next installment.

funny as hell
terribly amusing quick read. everett has a very witty tongue-in-cheek writing style that will keep you smiling throughout this thinly veiled work of "fiction".

Very good - but just how autobiographical is it?
The book does not claim to be an autobiography, but there is sufficient feeling in parts that I wonder just how much are real memories and how much is sheer invention. Read more
