Product Description

Whilst mourning her sister, Lucy Chadman (Shelly Long), Zelda (Judith Ivey) discovers an incantation that can raise the dead - and manages to bring Lucy back to life. However Lucy discovers her husband (Corbin Bernsen) has since married her best friend (Sela Ward) and soon finds herself in a love affair with the emergency-room doctor (Gabriel Byrne) who had tried to save her life.

Probably not the best Shelley Long film even when it was in her best era of film. Clearly they wanted someone well known and funny but even she does not really put her whole heart into the film. It's a typical 80's flick with its music and clothes but hasn't the charm of others. basic plot of the film is Shelley Long is an accident prone wife of a new plastic surgeon and she fails to fit in with his new life she then chokes on a chicken ball and dies and a year later her "witchy" sister brings her back only for her to discover everything has moved on husband and child have new lives, which is a bit weird as it is only supposed to be a year that has gone by. But she can only stay alive until the next full moon unless she finds true love- enter handsome doctor who is interested in her case. This is what I would call a sunday afternoon film, it's only about 90 mins long but seems longer with the constant press interviews she has, ok but not her best.

My Mum had this on video years ago and used to do the ironing whilst watching it. One of those films you do not have to concentrate on and is just a really silly & fun film to watch. Bought it for her to watch again and it always has her in stitches. Good clean fun!
