I have recentely purchased this book, and have already finished it. A very deep and detailed look at England's cricket during the 1996 World cup. Relives the glories of the subcontinent and all its maladies, very well written. If there is a criticism more could have been written about other matches during the tournament. Nonetheless a very good cricketing read.

Far more balanced and entertaining than Mike Marquess's more familiar account of the World Cup. there are some nice insights and strong but constructive opinions on teh state of teh world wide modern game. Recommended
