Great, Fun Anthology 11 Aug 2012
By Amazon Customer - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Paperback
Really solid anthology of horror stories centered around the Hollywood film industry. All 21 stories are great but there a few standouts that some smart producer should pick up to make into films. Especially loved "Message In A Bottle", "The Cutting Room", "Town Car" & "Not Elves". Highly recommended for horror fans.

Hollywood and horror are a great combination! 15 Sep 2012
By Darkest Jack - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Paperback
Now that the Halloween season is approaching, it's time to grab a good book, go find your favorite shady spot and enjoy some spooky fun. Hell Comes To Hollywood is a perfect choice. It has something for everyone, varying in degrees of gore and ghoulish mayhem.

It is a compilation of short stories all dealing with themes in the horror movie/Hollywood flavor; and the writers do their best to make you squirm just a bit in your seat, when the theater is dark and all you can do is pull up your legs hoping there's nothing underneath you.

To give you a taste of what's in store, there are stories which include a writer that has to pay the ultimate sacrifice, an actress that has to choose between fame or her son's life, the real demons of Hollywood, and the gruesome discovery of the true reason celebrities die in threes.

I would give this a solid 4 out of 5 as it does keep you turning pages, becoming involved with the various characters on their journeys. Although I do hope that this is just a beginning of collections as I would love to enjoy a new round every Halloween.

This book is a great read all year round, of course, but when those shadows get longer and the wind has that bite to it, Hell Comes To Hollywood puts that extra special chill up your spine that you've been craving. Do yourself a favor and pick up a copy.
After all, who doesn't love a good scare now and then?

Can't put it down 13 Aug 2012
By soccermom - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Paperback
I am not a typical horror fan. I don't do scary, but I thought I could read these short stories without letting them into my head. WRONG - I'm only 3 stories in and I had my first nightmare in years last night! I can't put this book down!

good combination 18 Aug 2012
By Ian Welke - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Paperback
Short story anthologies always have some hits and misses. This is almost entirely hits. TOWN CAR by Joseph Dougherty and THEY GO IN THREES by Shane Bitterling were particularly good, but it's a good collection overall.

Great Horror Anthology 17 Sep 2012
By ktg3925 - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Paperback
This is a great anthology of horror stories that I could not put down! Stories are centered around the film industry and are an easy read for those of you who don't have time to sit and read an entire book very often.

Each author has his/her own brand of horror, so there is a story to appeal to every fan's taste. Reminds me of the Twilight Zone series and would make a great tv series of its own!!
