This second volume of the "Helicopter Pilot's Manual" provides a natural follow-on to Norman Bailey's first manual. It also aims to instruct and help the would-be pilot to pass the PPL(H) and is concerned with the mechanical aspects of the examination.
About the Author
Norman Bailey first learned to fly in the Army Air Corps and later became a graduate of the RAF's Central Flying School for Helicopter Instructors. He is a CAA Helicopter Examiner and was a member of the UK Panel of Helicopter Examiners from 1976 to 1986. Resident - Manchester.

Dissappointing

I was very much dissappointed in this purchase.
It was not of the level I was looking for especially when it is a Syllabus book for studies with my Civil Aviation Authority. This is basic reading and seems to go way off track into turbines half way through the book. There are missing topics of importance with regards to the reciprocating engines.
Try and review in a bookstore first but it does not meed the Grade for PPL Exams.
