This is one fantastic single. I'm getting Bloc Party's Album 'Silent Alarm' based on this. I've seen them live at the NME tour (and got hit in the forehead by their drumstick which then fell into someones hands) they were absolutely immense live and Helicopter was the best song. Its got very tight guitar lines and lyrics that really go with the music. This song is really something special and Bloc Party can and will go far.
The B-side is also an excellent song, which is rare in bands now. You should buy this single and when you like it go out and get the album too!

Excellent CD single. The Helicopter song really stands out, its one of the best bloc party songs in my opinion. ive also got the 6 track bloc party EP and that is also excellent. Their
album should be coming out in January and Feburary, different labels having different release dates.
I Hope this band make it big as do alot of good bands at the moment like The Bravery and Thirteen Seasons.

Catchy opening+ great lyrics and great guitaring throughout. Not everyone likes indie, why i asked? Main stream pop rubbish!
