This is no fairy story-vaccine damage is real, is happening to the victim and their families the damage is 100%., 15 July 2010
This review is from: Helen's Story (Hardcover)
Rosemary Fox comes across as a very brave yet gentile lady, of course passions do run high when our children have been harmed or killed by Vaccination/s. I do think Rosemary was left tired and weary fighting for Justice, it's the fault of Government that this whole issue has not been properly scientifically addressed to date.
We just have to look to the very brave Dr.Andrew Wakefield to know that our Goverment shows callous disregard to anyone that dares to prove vaccines can and do harm.
Big Jon states their child succumbed to "some of the worst disabilities" claiming Rosemary's child Helen was "mildly disabled" I can understand others views on this book yet I can't condone anyone who makes such remarkes.
I know as a parent that firmly believes my familys lives have been ruined by vaccines when the harm is done to your children that harm is 100% -we -that is all those affected had normal healthy children-that was taken away by vaccines, our hopes and dreams shattered and broken. I know Rosemarys book speaks only of a few victims that, after 26 years got a miserly payment for their great suffering but I also know that there are countless numbers of vaccine damaged victims from the onset of vaccinations to this day that may never be recognised, that is so very sad, no child should be harmed and that harm ignored. Rosemary I commend for bravery in telling Helen's story, it's a story everyone should read and know, as the battle for justice will continue until the true scientific facts are known and that will only happen when our Government allow proper investigation of all vaccine victims.

This is a great book, 5 Jun 2006
This review is from: Helen's Story (Hardcover)
As the previous review shows, there is still a lot of passion and feeling raging around this topic, and to her credit Mrs Fox does not shy away from the details of this in her book. This is a great read, not just a book about vaccine damage but also about how governments and pressure groups work behind the scenes, and the extreme personalities they attract. As for a fairy story .. well I lived in Birmingham at the time the campaign started and can remember the early articles and TV programs Mrs Fox mentions .. hard to make up the amount of detailed documentation given in the book. I wonder if the highly respected MP (now Lord) Jack Ashley would aggree to write the forward if the book were not an accurate account of events ?

a fairy story?, 26 May 2006
This review is from: Helen's Story (Hardcover)
As the mother of a child who had some of the worst disabilities following an adverse reaction to vaccination and having come across the author during our own attempt at justice, I was very disappointed that this work of fiction has not given credit to many people like Ross Cranston, Richard Burden MP, Ian Stewart MP, together with many other Members of Parliament who formed an All Party Group, and the tireless Olivia Price, MBE, of the Vaccine Victims Support Group who all worked long and hard over several years campaigning for vaccine damaged children to have their payments from central Government improved. Hundreds of us give them our thanks as the original campaign was going nowhere, and this book records the feelings of an elderly, and apparently very bitter woman, possibly weighed down by caring for her mildly disabled daughter who was affected by polio vaccine.
Unless this is a subject which affects you personally, I feel that the line "life's too short to read a bad book applies here"
