I suspect my expectations for this product was too high, so the rating may be harsh.
I was hoping for something my daughter could walk around in normally and then do "something", not too hard, to use them as skates. That is not what I got.
The shoes can be worn without wheels - in which case they're just expensive shoes - though they are nice enough. Or you can put wheels in them and use them as poorly designed skates.
The putting the wheels in part takes significant effort. In fact when we got them we couldn't put the forth wheel in. We had to file it's axel down to size to eventually get it to fit (technically the shoe was at fault, not the wheel, so only that one wheel fits in that slot now). Getting the wheels out again requires a tool (supplied).
My daughter can't walk in the shoes very well when the wheels are in, and she finds skating in the pretty hard too - much preferring the in-line skates she has.
My daughter was reallly keen to try and like them, and they were used several times in the first 2 weeks, but after that they've pretty much never been used again.
