I'm 20 years old and I refuse to grow up. These shoes just help to reinforce my need to play around.
They look great, just like a regular pair of shoes. I didn't get a massive choice of colour with this purchase, (the black and grey pair were out of stock) but that didn't bother me too much, they go with the kind of things I like to wear anyway.
The wheels are easy to put in and take out, I never had to stop for more than 2 minutes to interchange how I wanted to travel along the beach. They wheels are sturdy and strong, they do not feel cheap by any means, which is great considering how much I actually got these Heelys for!
The only problem I have with these is they are very hard on the feet. By that I mean there is no support for your feet in these, its a completely flat, hard surface which you're walking on. To some people, this won't affect you. But, I have flat feet and walking in these for an extended period of time is hard on my feet. Conversely, this could be a necessary design feature that allows you to utilize the wheels, again, I don't know.
I don't recommend taking these on any expeditions, but the average day out with these won't give you too many problems, you can always buy some insoles and wear them like that. No matter how old you are, if you're brave enough to go out in these, not care what the other adults or older kids think, and you want to just spice up your walks or weekly shops. Get them. They are a blast!
