I don't usually write reviews but had to on this occasion. Purchased the product and was worried about the ease of assembly according to previous reviews where people had difficulty assembling the product, getting blisters etc!!! I built the trampoline one evening whilst my husband was at work, attached elastic cord and my two year old was happy bouncing away. This is a good value for money product. I am also 8 months pregnant and was able to easily assemble the trampoline. Don't understand the difficulty with assembly in previous reviews.

We have had this trampoline for FOUR months, stored permanently in our living room and already the cord has snapped. Not too much of a problem I thought, I'll just get a new cord for it. Impossible! Hedstrom's customer services is non existent. There is no contact telephone number they deal only with emails which they do not reply to. OK I thought, even though it was clearly faulty I'll just BUY a new cord as after such a long wait for a reply my 3 year old just wants her boink back. Hedstrom's website is also useless. There is a product in the spares section titled Trampoline Elastic. There is NO picture and NO description whatsoever so you would be buying this product completely blind with no idea if it is the cord for the Junior Trampoline or one of their other ones. So the only option is to again contact customer service asking if this product is the spare for the Junior Trampoline and again wait forever for no response. Incidentally my daughter's Furby Boom (also bought at Christmas) started making weird sounds and stopped moving 2 days after the cord on her boink snapped (neither toy issues were even remotely her fault, she was just unlucky). Hasbro in comparison to Hedstrom have been marvelous in sorting it out. Maybe Hasbro can give Hedstrom some tips!

The Hedstrom Junior Trampoline is a small indoor or outdoor trampoline which comes in a flatpack box for assembly. The product listing states that the trampoline is suitable for children from 3 years old which seems about right. The enclosed safety guidelines also state that the trampoline is not suitable for children with a body weight over 30kg, which means the trampoline should be okay to use until your child is about 9-10 years old.

Assembly of the trampoline is a bit of a challenge, but not too bad. I'd say it took me around 30-40 minutes to put together - although getting the supporting handle on was a bit tricky to work out (that could've just been me though!) and threading the mat on was also a bit of a pain (you really need two people to thread the mat on with ease).

Once the trampoline is made up it's easy to move about and store away should the weather turn on you. Storage wise, we've just been propping it up against the wall in the shed, and in doing this it doesn't take up a horrendous amount of space (although our shed is quite large, so this may be a factor to consider before purchasing it). You can also use the trampoline indoors - although after putting it up it does seem to be more of an outdoor thing!

Since we've had the trampoline, our kids have had quite a lot of fun bouncing about on it (we have 3 year old twins) and looks to be made from good quality and sturdy materials, with a solid design that should last for a good number of years of use. The materials used also appear to all be reasonably weatherproof - however I'm not entirely sure it would survive that well if left out in the pouring rain day after day (although it might be okay????).

Good toy but I didn't realise how difficult this would be to put together. The frame was easy to bolt together with the allen key & spanner provided but stretching the elastic cord around the frame to attach the mat took ages & gave me a couple of blisters (it does recommend 2 adults do this part) but with an excited 4 yr old wanting to bounce & my husband at work I persevered.

I bought this trampoline for my 2,5 year old sons. They have so much fun with this toy, and it's great exercise.

Very good quality trampoline and well worth the money. The downside of this item was putting it together, it took two of us a very long night to put it together and we had some very sore muscles after pulling the elastic as tight as physically possible. On the positive though my son's face was a picture on Christmas morning once he saw it and he loves bouncing on it.

It's lasted just 6 months.. the elastic has been worn out. I think it would be good for the seller to sell the elastic part seperately as I had to throw the big frame away just due to the elasttic. My 4 year old son has enjoyed it very much for the 6 months though..
