This album contains two CDs, both of them mixed containing 15 songs each. The songs are about 3 to 7 minutes long and last altogether about 2-3 hours.

CD 1 (Pool Party) mixed by Carl Hanaghan is meant to be listened to at the beach or at the poolside. The sound reminds me actually a bit of the Beach House and Disco Heaven releases by HedKandi. The first half of this CD contains a lot of vocal house, the second half of the CD becomes a bit funkier and aggressive, a little bit into the direction of disco house. While the first half is easy to listen to, the seconds half is rather a matter of personal taste, as some of the songs have this repetitive character, where one and the same sound is repeated over and over again, which may be annoying to some listener. CD 1 ends with ‘The Whistle Song’, which is considered a classic of house music and was first released 1991; in this particular album remixed by Supernova.

CD 2 (The Club) mixed by Phil Faversham is supposed to transfer its listener to a club night in Miami. The CD starts rather calm with ‘Prozak’ and gives with ‘Underground’ a feeling of the 90s. The CD continues with deep house and later takes a turn into tech house, which is more aggressive and commercial. Again, the songs become a bit repetitive in a way which is not really suitable for dancing and definitely not suitable for relaxing, if you asked me. It’s up to you whether you enjoy something like that.

What personally bothers be about this release is that once again, HedKandi decided to do some recycling. In other words: Taking a song which was included in a previous HedKandi-album and remixing it. I’m not generally against remixes, as I consider some to be even better than their respective original.

theres a lot of good house tunes on here, but its steering towards cheesy organs and sounds like that, beach house was good from hedkandi, this is good aswell dont get me wrong but just not great.

going miami next year anyway so will be able to see if this is the hedkandi sound that goes down in miami town.. wicked
