Suffice it to say, this was rather disappointing. The 2D animation looks like a Saturday morning cartoon, and the 3D animation is even worse. The characters, though they have competent voice actors, are guilty of cliche dialogue, in what could have been a good plot. There's more violence, nudity and gore than in the original, but it simply isn't animated well enough to pass as better. The soundtrack on the other hand, is really good, and is actually what attracted me to this movie in the first place. Overall, it's decent, and the 3-star rating comes from the actually well picked music selection. Of the tracks that appear in the movie, my favourites are "Silver Future", "Green Iron Fist", "Infinity", "Buried Alive", and "You Don't Know What It's Like". But the movie itself could have been so much better.
