5.0 out of 5 stars A wonderful gift for little loved ones 15 Mar 2003
Format:Hardcover
We gave this book to our daughter as a special birthday gift. Giles Andreae explains in his usual magical way just how special she is to us. This book would make a wonderful gift for any child and lends itself to a personal inscription. Definately one which will be treasured and kept in the family forever. A good partner for this book is "Love is a bowl full of honey" by the same author. When read together they lead the child easily into disscussing their own feelings. Years of enjoyment for all.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic gift from a Grandma to her grandchild 20 May 2005
By A Customer
Format:Board book
This is a lovely book which lets little ones know how much they mean to their granny and grandpa. My little girl is only two, but she loves it. Loves looking at the pictures of what baby bear is doing with his grandparents (building sandcastles, feeding ducks). Grandparents don't live nearby, so it's a great way to keep them in my daughter's thoughts. Highly recommended.

5.0 out of 5 stars Wonderfully sweet story 1 Nov 2002
By A Customer - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Hardcover
My mother bought this wonderful book for my 18-month old son and it has become one of his favorites. It is a wonderfully sweet story about the love of Grandparents for a grandchild. Several of the story items fit exactly with things my son does, making it almost seem like the story is about him. This is a book I will keep forever to remind me of what he was like as a young child.

Someone bought my kids another by this author and I LOVED it - this one is really cute, but it's more about the grandparents, which I didn't know when I bought it. Cute story and my kids like it.

This book is just right...not too long or involved. A simple story told by a Grandmother bear to her grandchild, about how very much she enjoys their time together. Love it!
