I was brought up into the Cardiacs family. When I reached an age where music was important to see me through tough times this CD was always there for me. First track The Alphabet Business Concern is a thumping anthem of consumerism and a belief in a business which itself was created as a joke of big record companies. Always to be sung along to this is one of my favourite songs of all time. Each track after is a great pop record with a twist, fun, fast with the whimsical lyrics we love from Tim Smith.
This CD is also known as being the first released with a 4 piece pop/rock remake of Cardiacs, the line up having changed on pretty much ever album created.
This is an album for anthem lovers, people who love 90's pop to dance to and lovers of odd lyrics.
This album is not for pretencious progrock lovers.
As an added note, before I get comments stating Cardiacs aren't pop, Tim Smith always claimed Cardiacs a pop group, and with this album it is hard to argue against.
