A great story.,

If you like intrigue, scandalous family secrets, and mystery then you've stumbled across the right book. Kara has plans to destroy Congressman Eastman, the father she never knew who abandoned her mother before she was born. Along the way she never planned to fall head over hills in love with his assistant Brent, nor did she plan to get so involved with the Eastman family she so desperately wanted to hate. Kara bit off more than she could chew when she got mixed up with this zany family that brought new meaning to the word Dysfunctional. It's a great ride, on an adventurous roller coaster of lies, deceit, love, and forgiveness.

In my opinion, Ms Jackson is among the finest authors I've had the pleasure to read. Her characters are real and believable. The beginning hook brought tears to my eyes. Kara's mother believed her sacrifice would help the man she loved and that was touching. Kara and Brent are realistic heroine and hero, and I was happy they got together. I don't agree with one reviewer that the senator wouldn't have done the things he did. That person is not living in the real world. I want to read everything Monica Jackson has written. It's about time an author came along who dared break the romance mold and write really terrific novels.

You Won't Put It Down,

Heart's Desire was a terrific book. I really enjoyed getting to know the characters and the overall pace. I read the entire book in only two sittings. That's a miracle for me (Actually a first).
