Wow! How could I have dismissed this when it was on telly years ago.
I bought this simply because it was a good price and because I am a Sarah Parish fan.
What I didn't bank on was how these 2 series would suck me in where,had my hubby had let me,I would have watched all 13 or 14 hour long episodes back to back.
The only bummmer was that Damien Lewis 'Mark' bloke wasn't in series 2 but the dadstardly James more than made up for it[those eyes!!].
Also I noticed in Series 2 'Emma' spoke with a more posher accent,not as northern as series one [got on my nerves a bit].
Other than that if you like the likes of Cold Feet & Friends you will truly enjoy this.It has all the ingredients that a good drama should,deceit,lust,humour & sadness all in equal measures.
Give this a go!

Years ago I watched this series on TV and loved it. Good actors, and a convincing story. I've started watching it again ... and I still love it. If you like English drama like Cold Feet you'll certainly love this too.

I LOVED this series, and have been waiting for the dvd for ages. I'm so pleased it's finally out. This was such a truthful, funny, edgy series, about SIXTY TIMES better than the rather soupy and predicatable Cold Feet.
Am going to order copies for all my friends! I can't wait to see it again.

Excellent Series
This series is really well acted, and at the end of each episode I could hardly wait to start the next one. Absolutely thoroughly enjoyed it, and would definitely recommend it.

Missing some episodes unfortunately
I received the box-set but disc one of series one had episodes 4-6 on it despite being labelled as having episodes 1-3. Therefore half of series 1 is missing from the set. Read more

Loved it...

Cant believe it's on DVD at last
Loved this series, very enjoyable and kick started the career of Sarah Parish! Looking forward to November the 5th, bring on the fireworks!
