Here the lady truly deals a dynamic hand with songs that are all memorable including the title song " Heartbreaker" which saw Dionne become a house - hold name after being off the music scene for a while .. what a sensational come - back ! Years later still a song regularly played by radio stations as it is a classic ! It is not surprising the songs are all so memorable being produced by the BEE GEES who lend their inimitable musical sound to chorus her on a number of them featured here in by example the musically brilliant " Take the short way home ". My personal favourite being a song that I was surprised was never released "You are my love " but this compendium of musical talent is one that will enhance anyone's music collection that's guaranteed !

This album is not unlike "Guilty" by Barbara Streisand, a meeting of female singer and The Bee Gees sound, and it works well. The Gibb influence is heavy in parts and serves to tighten and speed up the tempo, so bringing out the best of both Warwick's vocal prowess and the Gibb-esque timing and rythm. Call it slow disco or fast female vocal if you like, but the result is very listenable.

After being away from the Charts since the sixties, in 1982, Dionne Warwick shot straight back in the Top Twenty as if she'd never been away, and had her biggest hit to date with: 'Heartbreaker' just missing the Top Spot. She had another Top Ten Smash follow-up with: 'All The Love In The World' - both featured here on this Album which was also her biggest selling - reaching Number Three in the Albums Charts. How did she do it? Simple; she did what several Artists were doing back then who who were afraid of being forgotten, or hadn't had a hit for some time; she turned to 'The Bee Gees'! With these very talented Songwriters she couldn't go wrong of course! They'd done something similar for Barbra Streisand two years earlier in 1980 with: 'Woman In Love' which gave her her only Number One after failing to get a Solo Chart hit for almost four years!
This Album is one of those you'll just play over and over again! Every Song is catchy and tuneful - with the usual backing vocals from the boys.
