Set during the 1960s in the fictional North Yorkshire village of Aidensfield, this phenomenally popular series interweaves crime and medical storylines, with colourful regular characters that viewers took to their hearts, illustrious guests and a wonderfully nostalgic soundtrack.

This ninth series finds PC Mike Bradley and feisty solicitor Jackie planning a quiet wedding, while district nurse Maggie comes to terms with life as a single mum, and barmaid Gina continues to be unlucky in love. Charlotte Church, Judy Cornwell, Phyllis Logan and George Sewell guest-star, with Take That's Gary Barlow appearing in the series 150th edition.

Exellent quality dvds .Heartbeat was a fantastic show and now delightfull now available on dvd.I love the Yorkshire dales and the show showed how policing took place way back in 1969 hopefully Heartbeat can be restored and brought forward into the seventy,s, but it would be esential to keep Ventriss, David, Oscar,Bernie, Gina etc.Sunday nights are not the same since the series ended.

Another excellent Heartbeat series. Woth it just for the music. Worth it just for the scenery. Worth it just for the nostalgia. As always a bargain. Please keep the DVDs of Heartbeat coming.
