Nirvana Heart -Shaped Box CD single,

This is Kurt Cobains song writing at its best. His lyrics are great and they are sung with great melody too. This song is another example of Kurt Cobains ability to write a great vocal melody in the verse with an underlying guitar riff that is completly different yet sounds great together.This was Nirvana's biggest hit in the UK, It actually charted higher than Smells Like teen Spirit. The chorusus for this song are great to with doubled vocals singing at different pitches to each other. Highly recommended as a must have for anyone who likes proper rock music.

The single is great, Whats more it will probabaly be worth alot in time to come. Heart shaped box such a powerful song, one of nirvana's best. The single also includes Marigold, sung by dave, its become one of my favourite altime nirvana songs.

I bought this CD with doubts... I was pleasantly surprised. I was not a fan of Nivana then, but this CD convinced me to buy other songs by them. I am now a huge fan, and own all of their singles and albums. This CD includes a nice range of Kurts tracks, and Heart Shaped Box is an all time classic for me. It may not be as good as Smells Like Teen Spirit... but what is?
