About the Author
Pea Horsley worked as a theatre stage manager for many years before learning that she had a talent for animal communication. She trained in this field for several years before becoming the UK's first professional animal communicator. She now divides her time between her many clients and teaching workshops in animal communication around the UK and Europe. She also writes for esoteric and lifestyle magazines about her work.

I absolutely loved Heart to Heart and have recommended it to my family & friends. Pea Horsely did a pet reading for me and after that I was a believer! Any skeptism or doubt that I had with animal communication disappeared. Pea's gentle & compassionate way with animals is truly inspiring. This book is a wonderful collection of stories that chronicle the animals she has worked with - in a variety of circumstances. After finishing each chapter, I found myself relaying the details to my husband and children and they were equally touched & amazed. There are a lot of warm, poignant & touching cases - so have your hanky ready for a good ol' blub! An incredible uplifting book and I guarantee, you will not look at your pet (or any other animal) in quite the same way after reading it! Highly recommended!

I must have read virtually every book published on the subject of animal communication and I have to say that this is one of my favourite. I couldn't put it down until I had finished it and the daily chores went to pot! Pea's honesty about her own learning process has been very helpful and encouraged me when I thought I had hit a plateau in my own learning. It is a light and easy read and a fascinating insight into the life of a wonderfully warm and caring human being.

Entertaining and profound,

I loved this book and was sorry when I got to the end!I think one of the things that made it so appealing to me is that it is great to hear about animal communication from someone who started out as a total sceptic and who still comes across as very sensible and down-to-earth, despite having developed some amazing talents! Also, I liked the clear and straightforward style of writing, as I felt it let the personalities and unique voices of the animals themselves shine through vividly - it was almost like meeting Ruby the snake, Sabre-Toothed Stewart and all the others for myself. On one level 'Heart to Heart' is an entertaining read, full of fascinating and uplifting stories, whilst on another - the messages of the animals themselves - I found it moving and truly profound. I would say that it is definitely a book best read with the heart as well as the head.
