5.0 out of 5 stars This is a good one for everyday NLP. 15 Mar 1999
By A Customer
Format:Paperback
This book is a comprehensive source of easy-to-read NLP theory and case studies. Free of NLP jargon and complicated explanations, the book is valuable for everyone aiming at personal improvement or just curious about NLP. If you want to study the NLP applications how-to extensively, you'll need other books. This one is for common people, who can achieve immediate results with the NLP techniques described. A Note to the authors: I would prefer a more organized structure for the book, though this does not lessen its value.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent "How To" Guide for NLP 24 Nov 1998
By A Customer
Format:Paperback
Although books by Bandler & Grinder are "from the horse's mouth", this book presents a wide spectrum of applications complete with wonderfully explicit directions that virtually anyone can follow to achieve behavioral change. As a Master Practitioner of NLP, I have found this book to be a fabulous resource and frequently recommended it to clients who want to know more about Neuro-Linguistic Programming.

5.0 out of 5 stars Elegent, instructive and useful 11 April 2006
By Richard Griffiths VINE™ VOICE
Format:Paperback|Amazon Verified Purchase
I'm just learning, and I found this book to be elegent in it's approach. Take specific skills of NLP out of context and they might seem trite. So read this and you may find, as I did what happens when experienced, intuitive therapists use it properly, in a client focussed, flexible and empathic manner. Things happen, as they engage clients in making those things happen for themselves. This is one of a selection of books I would recommend to anyone wishing to become a brief therapist, whether or not they intend to use NLP training. Like "My voice will go with you" and Uncommon therapy, this book is an engaging read that teaches easily.
