Sweet Romance Series & Mystery Solved 10 July 2012
By Toni Campbell - Published on
Format: Mass Market Paperback
The Harts In Love series culminates with Deanna's story. Even though the Hart sisters have returned home for the funeral of the aunt that raised them, they each also needed a break from the stresses they are going through. Callie is recuperating from a car accident that resulted from her being run off the road (Always In My Heart). Natalie has left her star basketball player husband who cheated on her (Surrender My Heart). Deanna has made some bad choices in men that have negatively affected her music career and she needs the time to regroup. She agrees to speak to her nephew's class about her music and finds that the principal is her old friend Eric, the brother of the ex-boyfriend that started the years long feud between she and her sister Natalie.

This is a good twist on the "can friends become lovers" tale as Eric makes it known that, all those times he comforted her while she cried about his brother, he longed to make her his own. Also, since this is the last book in the series, we finally get to find out the circumstances behind the sisters coming to live with their aunt and what happened to their mother after she abandoned them.

Everything seemed rushed. 29 Jun. 2012

I love Kayla Perrin. I have read the 2 books that proceed this one and this is the finale. I was looking for some big action and juicy drama as they search for their mother. The relationship between Deanna and Eric seemed rushed. He was all over her right off the jump after not seeing her for 8 or 9 yrs. The sex scenes were very hot though. The revealing of their mother was too short lived for me. Overall it was great romance read! Great Job Ms. Perrin.

Enjoyed it. The book had a nice flow to it and kept me interested from the first page to the last. Deanna and Eric had really good chemistry, and they love story was very believable. It was nice to see the chapter finally close on the Hart sisters mystery of their mother. Although part of that story was a bit out of left field, it was nice to see the sisters final get answers to their questions.
Hart Part Three..the end 6 Jan. 2013

I went into this book with only one expectation getting Deanna to finally give love a try was going to be a challenge for any man because the other sisters were not easy. But she fell in love so easily she just didn't realize that's what happened. I don't know very many people that can have an affair with someone they are connected to on a friendship, deep trust level and then when they wish to just walk away. Deanna was no dust in her eyes or not she loved him with everything in her that's why the sex scenes in this book were so hot. Eric Bell could be my principle any day. Whether she knew it or not she was a goner the moment they reconnected. I was shocked though that Marvin didn't reappear I half expected it...

The added twist to this book was the wrap up of the story of their mother. That was an added kink in the chain. I couldn't understand the need for their mother to be gone for so long when the guy she was supposedly hiding from was locked up. Why still be gone? That was the question that kind of kept coming up. Then there was the dreams that Deanna had that she kept trying to remember and kept dismissing as her own memories of herself but they weren't of her. She was the key to the mystery as to why their mom was still in hiding. I won't play spoiler here...the book is good so I don't want to ruin the surprise but it added a new element to the story line that made it better than the others. Great way to end a series.
It was okay 10 July 2012

For the final book in a series the book should have been better. I found myself so angry with Deanna, she made a perfectly good man suffer for all the wrongs in her life. It was astonishing that Eric went through all of that. Deanna clearly needed psychiatric care. There was a great climax to the story which actually made it worth reading. It was overall a decent story. But it was simply just okay. Not sure if I will re-read.
