This series of books are fine for ideas of where to go but are seriously lacking in accuracy and detail. if you don't want to get horribly lost in the middle of a forest take your OS map and compass with you

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Bike Rides! 18 Sep 2009
Excellent, some great bike rides in here in particular. Clearly written, especially how to get to the start of each walk/ride. Good pub descriptions as well! Thoroughly recommend!
