Product Description

Eating when you are pregnant can seem like a minefield nowadays with so many reports on what to eat and what to avoid. Healthy Pregnancy Cookbook cuts through the confusion with clear, reassuring, up-to-the-minute advice to help mothers-to-be and new mothers choose the best foods for themselves and their babies. A range of appetising, easy to prepare recipes offers choices to women at every stage of pregnancy and breast-feeding. There are simple nutritious dishes such as 'porridge with milk and honey', robust vegetable rich dishes such as 'Thai vegetable wrap with sweet chilli sauce and comfort foods such as 'potato and parsley soup' and 'apricot queen of puddings'. There is sound, helpful advice on essential vitamins and minerals and which potentially dangerous foods should be avoided.

Yum! 5 Mar 2008
Format:Hardcover
If I can be converted to cooking in pregnancy then anyone can. For me this is a great range of recipes and not too weight conscious, so my partner and kids can enjoy them too. We all swooned over her summer pudding. A good book for those who believe pregnancy is to be enjoyed.

I don't know ANYONE who would eat these recipes! 30 Mar 2010

Format:Hardcover|Amazon Verified Purchase
I literally Gave this book away! I don't know anyone who would eat these recipes. I'm fairly knowledgeable on cooking and ingredients and I didn't know what half the things were. I only found 2 recipes in the entire book that even peeked my couriosity and the ingredients were no where to be found at any of the stores I went to looking for them. I'd pass on this one and save some money......
