My brother gave me this book about 12 or 13 years ago and this is probably the 5th or 6th copy I've purchased because I keep giving it away to people. I know the Frahms have been criticized for various reasons, but regardless of what you say about them, the advice provided in this book is solid. It truly changed my life the first time I read it and I find myself going back to it when I lose my resolve a bit! I originally found it helpful because each chapter suggests one change so the reader can try it, (hopefully implement it!), see how it goes then move on to another change. Maybe this approach is less overwhelming for people searching for a starting point; someone who says 'I can't do all of these things right now, but I can do X, Y or Z'. It's simple reading and provides some good resources even though it's an older book.
