This book is a little gem. 300 full colour pages of delicious recipes, with easy-to-follow instructions, mouth-watering photos, and all the nutritious information you need to ensure your meals are balanced and healthy. The first section is really useful, with instructions on how to cut vegetables you may be unfamiliar with, how to carve a chicken, how to make your own stock, how to subsitute ingredients, what to accompnay your meal with as well as a section on herbs and spices and what they compliment. The remainder of the book is divided into easy to use sections - soups, salads, baked dished, steamed dishes etc.

I bought it hoping to be inspired to move out of my usual Spaghetti/Lasagne/Chilli routine and try out some new, healthier recipes. Last night I made the Linguine with Crab (p280) and it was delicious. Tonight it's Mexican Arroz Rojo with tortilla and home-made guacamole. Great fun and highly recommended!

I love this book it is very nice. It has pictures of almost all the dishes and it is very clear and easy to use. Could be more of things that you can freeze.

Well worth the money.

This cook book is great - it does exactly what it says. A very simple, yet fun and interesting cook book, and I have made loads of the recipes already. I like the way it doesn't use too many complicated ingredients, and some of the recipes are based on for example tinned salmon, for a refreshing fiscatta etc. I would recommend this cook book to anyone who is either quite new to cooking for themselves or is looking for a few more ideas.
