The book will not go out of date because it gives the basics of a healthy diet, vitamin and mineral contents of individual foods, together with details on their health and nutritional value. It tells you which foods are good to help combat different health problems and even gives some great recipes. I seem to be forever buying copies to give to friends and family who see it in my kitchen, and I can't give a better recommendation than that!
