You Can Heal Your Life Companion book is an excellent guide to begin work on yourself. Most companion books I have seen are all journal entries or vague questions that don't help me clarify my specific problem areas. This book is divided into every area of your life that you may need to look at: beliefs, health, fearful emotions, critical thinking, addictions, forgiveness, work, money and prosperity, friends, sexuality,love and intimacy, and aging. For example, the fearful emotions chapter begins with a checklist of issues you may have. Then, Louise Hay gives reasons for these type of thoughts. She moves into an exercise in letting go (very useful to me). After that, you write down your fears in different areas of your life and create affirmations to change your thought patterns. She ends the chapter with a meditation on feeling good. There are many good exercises in each chapter depending on the problem area. Namaste.
