4.0 out of 5 stars Definitive reissue of their classic third album. 21 Jan 2014
By Tommy K
Format:Audio CD|Verified Purchase
A classic album that consolidates their ground breaking mix of African and Jamaican influenced funk which was truly original in 1972 and still sounds great 42 years on! This edition is nicely done with great remastering and nice packaging. Buy this version rather than the BGO edition, as Repertoire release fantastic albums which all sound wonderful and look stunning. Also, they are released in limited numbers so get them while you can. I also recommend Osibisa's first two releases which have received the same exemplary reissue treatment. Fela Kuti may have got there first with afrobeat but Osibisa managed to get huge commercial success and are therefore up there with other world music trailblazers like Bob Marley.
