Product Description

Product Description

Manchester United has risen in the last three years to the pinnacle of English football, crowning their achievements by winning the first Premier League Championships in 1993. At Christmas in the 1993/4 season they were 13 points clear at the top of the league. Alongside manager Alec Ferguson thoughout has been Steve Bruce, the central back in the No.4 shirt, who from time to time comes forward to score a crucial goal. This book reveals the inside story of the United dressing room, and what it is like to play alongside footballers such as Ryan Giggs and Eric Cantona. Bruce's story includes his early years at Gillingham, his mid-twenties spell at Norwich and finally the last five years at Manchester United.

I can honestly say that i was surprised about how interesting this was. It is written with professionalism and made me want to read on. I have never been a big fan of Steve Bruce but this book is fantastic. I would recommend this to anyone interested in football and the man himself, steve bruce.

This book is undoubtedly one which I can describe as expected to be extremely interesting before even picking it up. The man (Steve Bruce) was a truely great defender who I have the upmost respect for, how did he never play for England?
